.Jaye Starkes spent his early and adolescent years growing up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His mother then relocated, along with his two siblings, to the state of Georgia where she would raise them as a single mother. Jaye always wanted to act, but he did not actively pursue it until half way through his college career. Jaye received his first stage experience at Georgia Regents University (then Augusta State University) in 2011. Since then, he has continued performed many diverse roles on numerous stages such as Augusta, Georgia's historic IMPERIAL THEATRE, LE CHAT NOIR and at the 2013 SOUTH EASTERN THEATRE CONFERENCE in Louisville, Kentucky. Some of the productions Jaye had the blessing to be apart of includes local hits such as (Who Shot Jr?), the well known classics (Women of Troy & Julius Caesar), and the Pulitzer prize winners (The Flick & Clybourne Park).
Jaye decided he wanted to do more than just perform on a lit stage, so he set his eyes on conquering the many aspects of entertainment. He began appearing in numerous short films and web serials such as the award winning THE LYONS DEN and has worn many hats behind the curtain as a Stage Manager, Assistant Director & Director for many stage productions. Jaye is a highly driven, self motivated entertainer who will only continue to grow. With his strong work ethic the sky is the limit.
